Who We Are
Aikotaan is a volunteer-run organization based in Southern California, dedicated to organizing charitable, social, and philanthropic activities throughout the year. We are an inclusive community that celebrates diversity, promotes cultural awareness, and creates opportunities for individuals—especially the next generation—to showcase their talents while staying connected to their roots.
Our Mission
Our mission is to preserve and promote the religious, cultural, and educational traditions of Bengal and Eastern India. Through thoughtfully curated programs and initiatives, we aim to foster a deep sense of cultural identity, pride, and continuity within our community.
Our Vision & Charter
Aikotaan strives to build a strong, vibrant, and connected community grounded in friendship, collaboration, and shared experiences. We foster a spirit of unity through social gatherings, sports events, musical programs, and religious celebrations. At the same time, we actively showcase and share the rich cultural heritage of India—especially Bengal—through our outreach and external engagements.
