Soul of Rural India
— A Puja Rooted in Us
This year, Aikotaan brings alive the “Soul of Rural India”—celebrating the colors, creativity and simplicity of our roots through Warli paintings, traditional village crafts and rural art forms, many lovingly hand-painted and handcrafted by our own community, alongside special creations from our Aikotaan Kids Club.
And when it comes to music, who better than Chandrabindoo? Beyond the glamour of big Bollywood names, their unmistakably Bengali sound, wit and nostalgia take us straight back to the warmth, adda and unfiltered joy of our very own parar pujo.
Come, and let us transport you to a village in India. Let’s travel, just one more time, to that place where we spent our summer breaks with grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins—a place where time somehow stood still, yet the days and nights flew by at lightning speed. Let’s rediscover a little bit of that simplicity, warmth and togetherness right here in Southern California.
Because ultimately, a Puja is not made by decorations, artists or programs alone. It is you and us, together, who make it special. Come, soak in the spirit, relive a few memories, create some new ones, and make Aikotaan Durga Puja 2026 truly ours.
