RSM CRICKET LEAGUE SPRING 2025 SUMMARY
The inaugural cricket tournament organized on 30th March, presented us a nail-biting final that saw the Avengers emerge victorious after a day of intense cricket action. Four teams, the Gladiator Imperials, Avengers, The Lion Kings XI, and Top Gun Mavericks, battled it out for the coveted trophy, showcasing exceptional skill and sportsmanship. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
1st Semi-Final: The Lion Kings XI vs Top Gun Mavericks
The day began with the first semi-final between The Lion Kings XI and Top Gun Mavericks. Top Gun won the toss and elected to bowl, initially applying pressure with tight overs. However, missed catches proved costly, allowing The Lion Kings to capitalize and post a formidable 86 runs in 10 overs. Chasing 87, Top Gun struggled against disciplined bowling and suffered two unfortunate run-outs, ultimately falling short with 43/7. The Lion Kings XI marched into the finals with a comfortable victory.
2nd Semi-Final: Gladiator Imperials vs Avengers
The second semi-final pitted the Gladiator Imperials against the Avengers. Avengers, electing to bat first, faced a relentless Gladiator bowling attack. They managed to scramble to 43 runs, bowled out with two balls remaining. The Gladiators, confident of chasing 44, were stunned by a brilliant bowling display from the Avengers.
