By accessing this website, registering for events, or participating in any activities organized by Aikotaan SoCal Association (“Aikotaan,” “we,” “our,” or “the Club”), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Event Participation Terms

4.1 Liability & Venue Disclaimer

Aikotaan acts solely as a facilitator for events, which may be hosted at third-party venues not owned or operated by the Club.

  • Third-Party Responsibility: The Club is not responsible for the booking, maintenance, or safety standards of event venues.

  • Waiver of Liability: By attending, you agree to release and hold harmless Aikotaan, its officers, and volunteers from any claims, damages, or injuries arising from:

    • Venue conditions

    • Third-party services (e.g., seating, restrooms, access pathways)

    • Any incidents occurring during the event

4.2 Personal Conduct & Safety

  • Supervision: Parents and guardians are solely responsible for the supervision and safety of their children.

  • Assumption of Risk: Attendees voluntarily assume all risks associated with public gatherings, including potential exposure to communicable diseases or physical injury.

  • Behavior: All participants are expected to act respectfully and responsibly. Aikotaan reserves the right to remove any individual who violates community standards.

4.3 Media Release & Photography

  • Consent to Use: By entering an event, you consent to being photographed or recorded.

  • Usage Rights: You grant Aikotaan a perpetual, royalty-free license to use images and recordings for promotional purposes, including social media, marketing materials, and the official website.

  • Opt-Out: If you prefer not to be photographed, notify event organizers at registration. While reasonable efforts will be made, complete exclusion from group or background imagery cannot be guaranteed.

4.4 Event Changes & Cancellations

Aikotaan reserves the right to modify event schedules, programs, or activities at any time without prior notice.

In the event of cancellations due to venue issues or external factors, refund policies (if applicable) will follow the venue’s terms and conditions.

5. Membership & Participation

Membership and participation are subject to Aikotaan’s community guidelines.
We reserve the right to approve, deny, or revoke membership or participation at our discretion to maintain a safe and respectful environment.

6. Donations

  • All donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

  • Aikotaan SoCal Association is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations may be tax-deductible as permitted by law.

  • Donors are responsible for maintaining their own records for tax purposes.

7. Intellectual Property

All website content—including text, images, logos, and design—is the property of Aikotaan SoCal Association unless otherwise stated.
